Alpine - U14s Head to States!
Over this past weekend, West Mountain hosted the NYSSRA Mountain Council's final set of races before the State Championships. NYSEF athletes from both Gore and Whiteface were present many taking home hardware. In Saturday's GS, Whiteface's Lily Silverstein took home the gold while Elizabeth Mcintyre and Hanna Petro from Gore took home 2nd and 3rd, respectively. In the men's race, Evan Scriven from Gore took 1st while Palmer Feinberg and Jonathan Neron from Whiteface placed 2nd and 3rd. Sunday's SL saw a Whiteface sweep with Lexi Barile, Lily Silverstein and Sarah White taking 1-2-3. Evan Scriven and Palmer Feinberg repeated their performances on the men's side while Gore's Quin Taylor placed 3rd. Many more NYSEF athletes competed - full results can be found at www.nyssra.org.
