Northwood School Alpine Ski Scholarship

NYSEF partner, Northwood School announces the creation of two Alpine Ski Racing Scholarships available for one male and one female boarding student for the 2014/2015 school year. Each ski scholarship is valued at $20,000, and is renewable each year based on the recipient’s academic and athletic performance along with good overall standing in school.
 
Northwood School is a co-educational, independent, boarding and day school serving students in grades nine through twelve. Since its founding in 1905 Northwood School has offered outstanding scholastic and athletic programs in the Adirondacks. The school allows alpine skiers the combination of rigorous academic preparation for competitive colleges in a supportive, structured, small class-setting along with first-rate training and coaching.

Longtime partners in attracting top level athletes to the area, NYSEF provides Northwood School with additional coaching support and equipment, hill and training space, as well as locker room and changing facilities at the NYSEF/Uihlein Training Center at Whiteface Mountain. NYSEF is proud to assist Northwood School in its quest to provide ski racers with excellent educational and athletic opportunities.
